FAQ 16: I just got married. How can I change my last name in my profile?

To change your name, go to https://www.hsconnect.pitt.edu and log in. You will be directed to your account information page. Click on the “my profile” link on the top blue bar. You will be directed to your profile page. Click on “Edit” link under the section “Name”. You will be redirected to the “Edit Name” form. Complete the details and hit on submit. HSConnect will overwrite your old name with your new one. You will be able to view the change on the “my profile page”.

Remember the first and last name are mandatory fields and both these fields should be populated to successfully change your name.

Additionally, you can only edit information where Source is listed as User. To change information where Source is listed as Pitt, please contact the Payroll Department.
